That thing is wicked! Would love to see that on the street around here. It doesn't look very maneuverable, though. It's really street legal? That aspect might be a little concerning

LOL - Uh, I'm not sure they could have. I mean, a lot of work probably went into that. It's one thing to design a fantasy vehicle... another to make one that actually operates in the real world. I love how people can just poop all over something that obviously took skilled craftsmen a long time to create. I guess I always think... "well you have a go then."
Now, is it terribly accurate? No. Would I buy one if I had the money? Probably not to be honest... I still don't see how the thing is supposed to actually be able to turn in a responsive way. Do I think it's even that pleasingly shaped? Not sure. And the wheels are as round as they could be. But I do recognize the effort that went into it, and I think it's cool for that reason alone.

Isn't this the project where it is dedicated to one of their friends who recently passed away, who loved Tron? Yeah, it may not be a perfect likeness, but that alone makes it pretty special, imo. Besides, if it was a perfect replica, then they'd probably have something to worry about from Disney.

If I could afford to blow $55K and it lit up similar to the replica Light Cycle currently on display at London's Southbank then I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. One thing's for sure, I wouldn't be riding it around London's streets lol!
But clearly it's not practical and I think advertising it as a bike that can perform as a streetbike is a bit misleading. But having not seen the finished product working, I reserve overall judgement.
