This new clip is pretty heavily edited from what I saw at TRON Night. I'm a little disappointed that they chose to show, and heavily edit, such an important and pivotal scene from the movie in order to fit into their one-minute sound bite. In my opinion, they really butchered the emotional context of that entire scene. I understand they don't want to give too much away, but the significance of that scene in relation to the rest of the story is so important that I just think they should have either shown the scene in its entirety, or just left it out of the trailers and other short clips completely. But then again, what we are considering as the "non-condensed/non-edited" version that was shown at TRON Night may very well be an edited down version as well. I noticed this during the TRON Night screening, but I thought maybe I heard it wrong, but listening to this clip closely, it's there.

When Quorra says, "CLU had him on the lightcycle grid. I intervened." Does it sound like she says "Interveent"? It sure sounds like it to me.

I can't imagine the production team leaving such a blatant mis-statement in the movie. I would think they would have reshot that scene.

Maybe the clip we saw at TRON Night, as well as this one, is edited and what we don't see is...maybe...Kevin correcting her as she is still learning how to say certain things? Maybe a juxtaposition of lightheartedness and serious emotion? I don't know. I just heard it and thought it was kinda weird. What do yall think?

Agreed. This is the kind of thing I was refering to in that other thread. That these new clips *are* spoiling a major, pivitol, emotional scene in the movie *way* too soon. I really wish this clip wasn't released at all, and in this heavily edited form? It's an akward edit and the natural flow of the scene is off and the emotional impact is stilted by the edits. :/

I must say I did not like the mystery spoiler clip, but as a fan, I could not resist to watch the clip. Before the clip, I kept thinking how and when Sam would eventually meet his father and the buildup to it. Then the clip showed everything. I am not sure the way it was edited but it was strange, the emotional aspect how Sam stands there confused.

I really don't think this was all that much of a spoiler. I figured it was pretty much a given that Sam would find his father, and since this happens right after the scene where Sam meets Quorra, I'm guessing this is still pretty early in the digital-world part of the movie.

I don't quite get the reason for the editing of this clip, though. They cut so much of the emotion out of the scene. When you see it in the movie, like many of us did on Tron Night, it's very touching and even a bit painful as you can see that Kevin's long span of time in the digital world clearly has affected his mind.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I downloaded this clip and using After Effects, I rescaled it to 720p, and tried to restore it as best i could. The end result turn out better than I expected.
