The new TRON Legacy poster is cool, but we've seen it before....twice!

Someone pointed out on a site that it was interesting that TRON was holding the disc to contact his user and in Legacy it's Sam Flynn who has no user.
That's not new either. TRON 2.0 had Jet Bradley hoding the disc up, and he didn't have a user either.
I'd seen the images comparing the old and new posters, but I had to make this version and compare all three versions of this pose.

Nor am I, but I had to point out that it isn't entirely new. I love the new poster. Hope I can get a wall size version for my office.

Yep, I liked it mainly because it was an homage. I think any Tron fan who was a legit Tron fan already knew this was an homage. Otherwise, they should denounce their belief in their User and appreciation for Tron, and serve their system on the game grid. End of line.
Nice to see the images side-by-side... The latest one is really cool. And I had never noticed Jet and Sam were Users communicating. But it makes sense... Anyone on the game grid who needs to communicate to the real world needs to do so thru the I/O towers.
I was bummed in Tron 2.0 that you couldn't stand in and bask in the glory of light eminating within the I/O towers. I hope Tron: Evolution or a more legit FPS for T:L lets me do this someday
