Hi all I just wanted to get qixx and a few other opinion here. I just got two computers here from a friend of mine here. I received two computers here. The first one is a old Pentium II computer which could do a job but planning to rebuild that one with a better power supply and a new motherboard and processor that I have already with minimum amount of memory and a good video card (768 megs of ram and a ATI all in wonder turner card with 128 megs of ram AGP format.). The one that I am replacing the motherboard will be using a gigabyte DA-7n400 pro2 with a athlon XP1800 processor and about 768 megs of ram. The memory can be replaced and brought up to 3 gigs macimum for memory on it. And was thinging of using this as a file server for MP3's and videos with windows 2003 enterprise edition. So it can use IIS as for doing FTP for file transfers over from both computers to it. And they would just need to get a larger hard drive and place it as a D driver for either IDE or Sata on it. Which they can basically buy the drives themselve when they need to updgrade it. I could help them remotely with Remote desktop sharing when it comes live if they do plan to take it.
The other computer is a second AMD Processor but I do not know the specs of it yet since I did not have a chance to fire it up and see what is on it. But it is a faster processors and definately more memory. But missing a hard drive on it. I was not given any information about what is wrong on it. But will find out what the problem is whens I go through testing on it. But was thinking of setting that up as a home theater system with windows Vista witha large enough hard drive again for that one where they could hook it up with a tv tuner card on it so they could record two seperate channels on this system. I can only imagine that the CPU speed is definately faster tahn 2ghz. But I will see when I fire that up for testing.
Now I do not know if anyone else has something like this at your home. But I know for sure that I do have at least three computers at home that range anywhere from 1.8ghz (running AMD 3000+) and is working fine with 1 gig of ram for a simple web server with joomla, mysql and php on it for private use for family and friends to look at from their home. And the other either active directory and similar web servers for a couple of other things. Do you think that at least with a AMD 3000-6000+ processors are enough for both a home theater system and a web server should be enough for a smalle family to have at their home other than using it for a gaming machine and the usual ord processing and what ever else that we use the typical computer at home. order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

For home theater yes. For a home server....probably. I say probably because I have not created a dedicated home server but I would think it would function reasonably well. For a system like that you could probably find some decent RAM on Ebay or something to max it out just in case. I am thinking about making a home theater computer one of these days, perhaps with my old Athlon 2800+ but for now I am using a MOXI box for my DVR and Cable box needs (and loving it I might add). where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I do have a place that is close by to where I live which deals with recycling computers. From the office. So Ram is definately cheap there. www.encandepot.com and www.pcdepotliquidation.com
Which I could get some extra memory for the first one that I am pulling out the old Pentium II. I still need to get a secondary power supply for the other computer that is there as well. Since it would probably good for them since they can both still be expanded with either Raid 1 Sata drivers or EIDE drivers for extra space. I've already built fourse servers here. one with active directory. And the three others are either live machines and a testing machine for testing some other things that are related to web base stuff.
