Portable shortwave radios

I am looking to replace my Grundig yb400 with an inexpensive lightweight sw radio that I can use in a disaster kit. The yb400 is a good radio but it is bulky and is a 6 AA battery hog.
The 2 radios I am considering are the CCrane SWpocket and the Kaito Ka-1101. Does anyone have opinions on these?
