I thought I caught a little whiff of this topic elsewhere, but could not find my way back to it. Feel free to point me there if it's an ongoing discussion.
Someone complained about the cartoony aspect of the characters in T:E Wii.
I know Disney has plans to do more with the TRON world in the future, and one of the rumored items is a cartoon series, so is the look of TRON: Evolution: Battle Grids actually an early look at what a TRON cartoon might contain?

But as for a cartoon for Tron, it may be an early look for it. If it is, I don't mind how how the overall world view will look. Although, I sort of can't see that style being used for the character's face animation. the style of the faces makes me think of cheesily 3D animations. But I may be wrong on how that will turn out.

Dave, I remember reading back in the late 90's on SciFi Wire about Disney wanting to do a Tron related animated series. It was to be called Tron Warriors and was kind of a Kevin Flynn and Alan run high tech crime fighting outfit that used teen hackers to go into the computer and fight all sorts of problems and have adventures. I think Disney was mourning the loss of Gargoyles and partially energized by all the WB action shows of the day. Unfortunately it never "rezzed". But Check these out.

It's not rumored. it's in development.
The search is down, otherwise I'd bring up my links I've posted here before on it.
