Am I the only sane person that can see through all the flashyness of this trailer, and can see how awful of a remake this appears to be.
I'd list all the problems I see with this remake, but I don't know if I should even bother... *sigh* "The film is about finding human connection in an increasingly digital world." - Joseph Kosinski

meh, it looks like it'll be entertaining, and that's all I'd really expect out of a movie like this.
gotta love that tagline, though.
"CLASH OF THE TITANS: TITANS WILL CLASH"

Me & some of my family members that have raised me with the original agree with you, Shadow. It's just.... horrible. To me, it's a cash-in of the "300" crap.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Ugh, no thanks.
Looks like another '300.' All green screen sets, no real story or actual acting.

Looks like it has potential to me. I'm able to see through the lame, generic rock track; through the "300" slow-mo junk; through the flashy cuts... to see the movie may actually be good. Might actually be a re-make that does some justice to the original.
I hope anyways.
Otherwise, if the movie is like the trailer -- heavy on rock power ballads, presented at an ADD pace, and light on story and quality acting -- then I worry. Hopefully the 300 effects will only be used in the trailer. order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Gee, warriors falling of a cliff in slo-mo.....again.
I'd rather see them re-release the original, with quality CGI replacing the the stop motion effects.

Looks better than the original.
The hero isn't effeminate for one (played by an actor who would later play a gay man seducing a married gay man in denial in another film.)
No sign of R2D-3PO the golden owl.
If you don't like it, fine don't go see it, there is a generation of millions of youths who deserve a movie of this kind fit for their generation.
The original is so behind the times it doesn't speak to them at all.
My daughter has watched the original twice and was like "This is so goofy."

I know from my background that every year viewer’s tastes get more sophisticated, but that doesn't mean you should sacrifice good storytelling, research, camera work, and acting. Movies are like a three legged chair. You remove one, the chair topples over.
Everyone likes better-newer movies.
You shouldn’t say the original is necessarily behind the times, because of the fact that cinematography is very recent and young in human history. Even more so with computer assisted VFX.
Of course some movie makers don’t know what in the world they were doing. An example, some movie makers will gobble up what ever popular book is out without reading it first. Because they depend on the popularity of the actual book and don’t even know what the book is about, they often end up with a cheesy movie that shouldn’t have been made to begin with. I was deeply disappointed by Eragon. Another good example is Twilight. It’s almost like they didn’t even read the book before deciding. Sparkling vampires, jumping glowing werewolves, concepts that sound like they were made up within seconds of publishing? That should have raised some red flags.
I'm willing to give this new version of Clash of the Titians a (one)chance. I'm a little too familiar with Greek Classical art and myths. I might end up feeling empty, because I’d want too much . Like Athena’s owl and other classical characters. If the camera jumps around too much, and everything walks like “300” my eyes will end up glazing over. I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

pretty sure what he means to say is that the style of the original is too dated for todays youth, with which i will empathize since it appears he is at least making an effort to initiate his daughter into the arts beyond the usual cinematic idiocy marketed towards her generation. but everything else he said was ridiculous.

so did Phantom Menace. still sucked
also you cant 1981 vs. 2010

pretty sure the original was intended to be more of a romance than a battle epic. i know women of that generation (my mother would be one) who still love the film. 10 years from now remember to ask your daughter if she cares about this one or even remembers any of the actors/characters.

I actually liked and enjoyed "300", but I do not like the way other movies (like this remake) are trying to emulate it's visual look and specific cinemtography & FX style.
I mean "I... AM... BEOWULF!!!" said like "THIS...IS...SPARTA!!!" was lame;
I wouldn't be surprised if Perseus in this remake shouted " THIS...IS...MEDUSA!!!" when raising her head to turn the Kraken into stone... Ugh. order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill
