I was going to post this a few days ago but I'm limited to my internet time considering I'm currently at my sisters house and everyone wants to use the computer here..
Anyways.. I'll be going home tomorrow. Word has it that the power came back on..

wow, glad you're ok! 
I lived up there 20 years ago - I saw a storm much like what you showed, it was just evil. golfball size hail with 80-100MPH winds. I just sat there and waited for our 3rd story wood frame apartment built in the 30's creak and moan and fall over... it never fell. Darnit! haha. I miss that place.

It's pretty wild. This is the first major storm we had in over a decade that caused massive damage. Usually it's just some crazy storms that has a louder bark than their bite.
We are currently in another tornado watch (which isn't a biggy since we are always in a watch this time of year on a daily basis.
I'm home now... I have the power and internet runing but I'm hooked up stairs to the HDTV since the basement still has some water in it. It may be till this weekend till I'm fished cleaning all that up.

Wow, no thanks!! Had quite a wind kickin' through there.
I hate storms. I like what they look like, but hate their effects and potential effects. A love/hate relationship, I suppose

Gosh, well at least no one is hurt. Gotta hate water damage though...and the chance of a tornado ripping through your roof.

Lol.. that was just a joke about the house being on fire. I just wished that the storm was also an on-going joke...
but it's not really so bad now. My house is still standing... and I'm still drinking... and my buddy 'Jeremy' is still stupid... so ... it's all ok... worse hit since 1982.. That was a killer tornado back then... but this was worse as in 'wide-spread' damage..
But.. everyone is peachy.... well.. tired.... Chainsaws are fun at first but chains break... but it's so great to be back home.

Ahh, regarding the fire, you are the Qix who cried wolf! Be careful in how often you do that!! LOL. Glad to hear it was nuthin', though.

Glad to hear you're okay, Qix!
There was a bit of a nasty storm where I live about a week ago, but it only lasted something like 15 minutes. We had hail (large ice pellets) falling and it did some damage. But that's nothing compared to what you had. Also glad the damage to your house sounds minimal.
