Now go get the add ons for the light cycle and the disk arenas. And blast some bits out of someone. That is always fun to do. I ised to do the quick turn and die on light cycles with Todd and the others.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

When I first played it, I took my sweet time looking at all the details. I think I covered about every inch that I could possibly cover. It took me over a week of daily playing just to get through it. I didn't want to miss a single thing. After all, it was a brand new game to me, and I didn't want to just blow through it.
So, did you just blow through it, or did you play it non-stop for like 48 hours? The only way I could finish it in two days is to just blow through it without really caring all that much for the scenery or finding hidden areas, etc. I mean, I read every single e-mail, and did whatever else that I'm forgetting is possible to do that consumes time (that you otherwise don't need to do).
But, I guess the difference is that you got it for your birthday, and I bought my copy. _____________________________________________________________________

I must be setting the record for the longest playthru eva! Got the a couple of years after it was released but am not really a PC gamer so have kept my save files over three different PCs playing a few times a year.
That's why this post is so funny - two days for you, lol. Found this site cause I'm curious how much is left. Just got to the Database. At this rate.. it will be perfectly timed for the new version!

Yep.. this is pretty much how I'm playing too. Really enjoy just looking around at all the little details and enjoying the atmosphere and mood. It's a beautiful game, IMO.

I haven't finished the game either. I've had it for at least two years and I haven't even begun through the first level yet.
This only because I have little time on my hands, and don't have the proper computer hardware. I don't want to play through the game until I can afford a decent computer. I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

Yeah...^_^; so ill equipped that the motherboard fried mid-July. It was over five years old though; I could have seen that coming. It was pretty awful. It had only 32mb of integrated graphics memory and it could barely run Tron 2.0. I was worried about running the game because the laptop would run hot(100%), so I only played multiplayer for short amounts of time.
Right now I'm using a loaner laptop that's got the same specs, but a nicer monitor. I'm waiting till I can afford to get a decent desktop computer, then I'll be able to actually play the game without running into T&L pop ups and freezing up(on lowest quality settings and other stuff manually disabled). I really can't enjoy the game (or 3D content creation) if can't run it in the first place.

I see Cyber...well, if you aren't that into all the newer releases of games and the more top notch equipment then obviously you'll be more in luck with the cost option...by PC is like, 6 years old, and still good for it's age: I've only upgraded the video card some 3/4 years ago. So I have no doubts that you can find a machine for a good cost that can run many recents games fairly and the older with improved quality. I mean, if the Orange Box works on my computer I know I'd be satisfied. order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill \o/ |

The game was awesome, but a little on the short side for me, too. I think I finished it in a weekend on the Normal difficulty setting, if there is one. I usually go for Medium/Normal difficulty in games so it's not too easy, yet not a royal pain.
I can't blame the devs of Tron 2.0 for making a fairly short game, though. It's pretty much the way the industry is going, given that you have to spend millions and have like at least 50-100 people working on them to make them these days. Can't afford to make a FPS single-player game that lasts more than 15 hours, given the cinematic, movie-like quality everyone expects in their games these days.
No matter what the trend, I won't buy a single player game any more that the reviews say has less than 12 hours of single-player gameplay. Call of Duty with 4 or 5 hours of gameplay takes the cake in terms of a rip-off, imo. What a joke. I'm not going to spend $60+ on a game I can beat in the same amount of time it takes me to watch two movies, no matter how good the multi-player aspect (that I never play) is.
20-40 hours should be standard; not the exception. I miss the days when 5 people could make a big, fun game.
I hope Tron Legacy the video game is a Tron saga that easily takes over 20 hours to beat, that is non-linear (so we can play how we want to play it and not be spoon-fed everything), and that isn't overly scripted (so we can replay it without seeing the same things at the same predictable times every time).
I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^ |

It's a movie-based game (likely) being developed internally at Disney Interactive Studios.
I think you might be setting your expectations a little high.
