Technically.....

Over 9 million Computers were corrupt with a nasty Virus Worm thing. Take a look.

Why did I post this in the TRON 2.0 General Discussion? Because! Ugh! Fine, I'll explain and compare.

TRON 2.0: A virus spreads through the computers and eventually reaches out into the Internet.

Real Life: A virus spreads through over 9 million computers.

TRON 2.0: ENCOM is bought by a sinister company named fCon.

Real Life: Something called F-Secure is helping the community to avoid the Worm. Or so they say....

See? Does that help ya? Hopefully it does.

I boosted my security measures on my computer. I hope it's enough. But if it is'nt, then I must digitize myself!!

Speaking of viruses there is a virus (Trojan Horse, I think) going around through email. It'll be an email that looks official saying something along the lines of "Amazing Speech by Obama" (anything haveing to do with Obama and sometimes McCain) it will lead to a video but when you click it it says in need to down;od the latest version of Adobe flash (or something along those lines) fooling users into downloading the virus, so beware.

Good warning. Let this be a lesson to us all to make sure we look at the URL we are about to click on before we click. And this means look at it while your mouse is hovering over the link. It'll appear in the browser's status bar on the bottom. So, in this example, it says you need to click to download the latest version of Adobe Flash or something. Well, a link to download the latest Flash is http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP. So, if the URL is pointing to another place entirely, then do not click and get away. And if you're using Firefox, then the chances are good that it won't even let you see the fake video page anyway without warning you about it being fraudulent or something.
