So I got it for Christmas, anyone else here play it online? Is there anything I need to expect in the game? I'm playing through single player first, then it'll be multiplayer awesomeness.
Kinda funny, even with this higher performance PC I still had to crank down the settings to their minimums and turn off Anti-Aliasing, which is a tad bit annoying, but then again, I'm just glad it runs.
One last question. The game generally runs at about 30 FPS, so when I get to the nuke scene in the "Shock and Awe" level, will my computer lag? Keep in mind that I got it to barely run, sorta like TRON 2.0 on my old PC.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I play COD4 every once in a while, I played it on a friends pc a few weeks ago(better game rig than mine), and I got spoiled. Very cool game. I'd be happy to get into some multiplayer action, I'll try to keep my eye out for you online.

Yeah, I added the game to my non-steam games list so that you can see when I'm playing. However, until I beat single player, I'm not doing multiplayer.
Also, it turns out that the one major thing that was causing the game to run slow was the anti-aliasing. I might experiment with the settings sometime.

I play online myself, It has been a while I can't remember my online screen name. I'll look it up for ya and hopefully I'll see you on the grid. I've just completed the new World at War, its good and the Zombie level you get when you finish the game is fantastic. Sorry to hear, Oniell. As for Call of Duty 4, I won't buy it. I don't believe in buying games for $60 that I can beat in 4 or 5 hours, no matter how good that 4 or 5 hours is. And I won't rely on the multiplayer aspect to save a game. Developing a solid single player game comes first and foremost for me unless the game is exclusively multiplayer. Tron 2.0 was a bit short, in my opinion, but passable because it was Tron-related of course.
I hear great things about Call of Duty 4, but I won't buy it until I can get it for $10. Because it's so far post-launch, I actually don't care if I ever play it; even if I could find it for $10. They missed their chance with me. Guess they should've sold it for $30 or $40 max at launch. Then I may have gotten it. I can't believe we pay $60 for games nowadays. What a ripoff for a lot of them.
I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^ |

Okay, just beat the game, but now I'm running into problems with multiplayer..
Whenever I start up multiplayer, I get an error message saying iw3mp.exe has crashed, which I assume is Infinity Ward's multiplayer program. I am running the game as an administrator on Vista 64 bit. Anyone know why it's doing this?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I'd check is firewall settings, add iw3mp.exe manually if you don't see it.
Look for updates, and last there may be a patch for software issues..
I had it crash on me from the firewall blocking it when I first played.

For some reason, when I chose iw3mp.exe, it wouldn't add to the list for Windows Firewall. Also, I installed the 1.6 patch, and it still won't work.
I'm going to try installing the 1.7 patch, and see if it'll work.
EDIT: Okay, more specifically, here's what happening:
iw3mp.exe is recognized by windows as Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare - Multiplayer, and when I try to add it to the list of exceptions, it says it's already in the list, even though it's NOT in the list. The only Call of Duty 4 apps in the exceptions list are Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare - Single Player and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.

First off, what firewall are you using? I don't ever use windows firewall. PC Tools or die. I don't use anything but Ccleaner and that firewall. Never had an issue...
But back to the game, That's correct file... Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Call Of Duty 4\Iw3mp.exe
But I don't know why it's crashing right off nor why windows doesn't work, but that's really not a mystery. |

Got it working.
I searched up my issue on Google and found a tech support forum where someone said that plugging in a mic made it work. I plugged in a mic and it works now, wtf...
