Oh my users!!!!! I had to pinch myself three times on this. I know that some people here are not too familar with Linux which is okay and respect that as well too. But I had to share this with some of the others that don't use microsoft Windows or Mac OS. I know that Qixx is using it at his place but you have to take a look at this site. There is a add on for Ubuntu called Ultamatix a replacement for automatix which has little add on's and other related software for a operating system that is becoming very popular. And it seems that it has been honed down to a point where they have taken some really good games that are out there that are available for windows and Linux and made another diriveted of Linux which is strictly sick for those who like gamer.(And I meant that in the good way.) Click on the link and just scroll on down to the little video that is available and take a look see. And take a look at some of the software that they had packaged together.
It's a 4 gigabyte download but well worth it for me and I used to be a gamer waaaaaaayyyyyyy back when 8088 processors used to be the norm with cga and ega were popular back then.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

That's probably one of the coolest-looking OS's I've ever seen! It just seems to have so many unnecessary features that seem like they'd take up too much RAM and/or system resources, a similar issue many people have with Vista, I believe. Still, though, very cool OS, if you have enough power under the hood.

I'll play any mode, but I'm best at LC.

Trust me Tron.dll the bare minimum on Ubuntu alone with all the works added in will work on 256 megs of ram with a little bit of swapping thrown in due to not enough ram. I'm running similar version as that one which is Ubuntu 8.10 desktop version. Which is the latest release and it is working fine on a dell GX150 a Pentium III 1.0 GHZ and 384 megs of ram. Just so you have an idea of what systems I am running over here. This version will be working it on a Dell precision 530 which is very beefed up in comparison. especially for games like what is offered in that package. Just the basics without the game will work fine. And it still comes with the standard applications that the default has on the original Ubuntu 8.10 has as well. I was surprised that they added these games to it as well.
