I stopped by to chime in on this year's Thanksgiving thread and was a little surprised to find that there was none. Easy to fix though. 
To my fellow American programs, happy Thanksgiving 2008!  Enjoy the company of family, friends, good food, and be thankful to have all that you do. Never forget the less fortunate and don't take what you have for granted.
To my non-American program friends abroad, happy November 27th! After all, it is November 27th for everyone, regardless. Who needs a reason to celebrate, right? You should still eat well, enjoy the company of friends and family, and always be thankful for all that you have.
And in other news, today is rez-day number 5 for me. I spent the earlier part of the day testing the elasticity of my abdomen by stuffing as much food as I could. After having stretched it to the maximum, cake, pie, and ice cream was brought out. I was WAY too stuffed for any of that... but that didn't stop me. After some time to let the food settle in my stomach (and the obligatory tryptophan-induced nap), I hit the treadmill of doom. It wasn't an easy trek. I swear, I felt heavier on there!

We all played Guitar Hero World Tour. When we started Livin' on a Prayer, everyone in the room started singing along and sounded like they were freakin' drunk as heck.
