Hmm, well first of all: did you buy a brand new Mac? One with an Intel processor in it? Sounds like you did, considering you're talking about VMWare Fusion. From what I can tell, it's for Intel Macs only.
The Mac version of the game won't run at all if you have an Intel Mac. And even if you have an older PowerPC Mac, the Mac version of Tron 2.0 still won't run on Leopard. It only works on Tiger, or earlier. And I haven't heard from anyone who's come up with any kind of workaround or fix for Leopard.

That's what I would do. Install Bootcamp, and create a partition with Windows on it. Then install the PC version of Tron 2.0 on the Windows partition. Running the PC version of the game in OSX using an emulator, is completely unnecessary if you have an Intel Mac. Though I do understand the convenience of running the game in an OSX window, rather than having to reboot every time you want to play the game.
