death-program Wroteid you know that regular DVDs are red-ray? So technically it already came out. Boy are you slow. jk.
Seriously, though, I love NMBC. One of the best movies ever. Unfortunately I do not have an HDTV or Blu-ray player... I have a red-ray player, though! |
Lol... I know.. but if you are familiar with the PSA from 'Red Vs. Blue' (follow the link on my last post) then you might get a kick out of what I was talking about... :P
What you said is kinda right (but I'll have to look it back up to make sure)... From what I understand, CDs use a red lazer, but DVDs use a violet lazer... If I'm correct, Blu-Ray uses an ultra-violet lazer.... I'll have to look that back up to make sure...
What really made me freak out was that a report from ZDNet about a year ago reported that some Israeli company made a transparent disk that is the standard CD size (other than it's a bit thicker) that can hold up to several Terabytes using a different lazer method (and layer method).... If I find a link to that artical, I'll have to post a link because it really is an interesting read...... and it made me drool... lol....
can you imagine putting everything you have on CD and DVD (and blu-ray for those of us that own it) both data and music/film all on one disk.... WOW...
