Is it possible to use a CD like a flashdrive, and if so, how?

Not really. There are CDs and CD-RWs. With a CD you can put a certiain amount of information on it and once it's on there you can't put anything else on or take anything off. With CD-Rs you can place a certain amount of information on the disc and if you need to add more you have to format the disc and put everything back on with what ever extra you want on the disc. Flashdrives are more like small hard drives. You can put information on or off in any order you like without ever having to format it.

If you have to use the same disc multiple times, stick to a CD-RW, but if you only need to use one once, just use a CD.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Yeah, that's what I thought. Someone told me it was possible and I didn't think it was. Oh well, thanks anyways.

a HDD is like CD, just made better. I don't think it's impossible to use dvdRW for your purpose, the new tech in CDs should make this possible, I like your idea. It may be limited due to the energy used in writing - creating a bottleneck in the system, perhaps it hasn't been used because people could have a few problems using a DVDRW 100% of the time, as well.

Sort of. There used to be drivers supplied with CDR and CDRW drives called PACKET STREAM WRITING drivers which allowed you to write single files to a CDR or CDRW by dragging and dropping the file onto a virtual cd drive, but they were more like WORM drives (Write once, read many), so you could copy a file to a CD, but you couldnt change the contents of that file once you had, and you could keep adding files to the cd until it was full, but you couldnt read those files back on a normal CD drive until you "closed" the disc

I think it was pretty much scrapped because blank CD prices fell to the point it was cheaper to scrap a disc and burn a new one than having a floppy discwhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Well, I think I have a couple of CD-Rs and CD-RWs. The best I could do with those is format, then drag and drop files onto it, right?

You're best off just burning a disc in the normal fashion with whatever burning software you prefer.

you *CAN* do whats called Multi-session, where you dont close the disc so you can still write other stuff to it, but again, it cant be read by other cd drives until it is closed.

because CDR's are so cheap, just bung a load of stuff on it and burn it, verify it to make sure its ok, then put it away out of sunlight and dont use it unless you need to reinstall the files. Sunlight can KILL CDRs and CDRWs!

Yeah, I'm only going to use the CD on one computer, I just want to be able to put files on, remove it, and add to it. What type of CD do you suggest I do multi-session on?
