my computer has no sound but the odd thing is, is that it will play the speach sounds from star wars battlefront 2 "comon soldier get back in the game!" stuff like that but all other sounds are dead. I have allredy tried updateing the drivers, i get no sound when playing an MP3 or CD in Windows Media Player, i use realtek hd and i have tried fixing the codec with this: http://www.wgohome.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2851
