 where do i get the game?

where do i get the game?

i like to play tron 2.0 and i hear there is the killer app mod which sounds awesome. so i would like to play. my problem is where do i get the game? i would probly be on all the time if i had it. im looking for a challenge too. i was #1 in the world for tron 2.0 killer app for xbox live. no joke. that was controller i dont know bout mouse tho.

Wow, you must be pretty good at TRON 2.0! In the words of Sark:

"I'd love to go up against one of those guys."


I'd say your best bet for getting TRON 2.0 would be Amazon, Half.com, Ebay or the like. It is a somewhat older and more unsuccessful game, so it's a bit hard to find. I believe you can get it on Amazon for around $4-$6, it's really a steal and totally worth it. When you get it, you'll have to install the latest patch and all that stuff. You can find all that at TronFAQ's site.

And I agree, KillerApp.mod will own!

PS: TronFAQ, over at LDSO you mentioned some pretty extreme system requirements for the mod. Heck, the RAM required was more than twice the original minimum system requirements! Were those the maximum requirements for the mod, or did you slip up a bit?

Since the question about where to get the game has already been answered quite nicely, I won't add anything about that.

512MB considered extreme? Not in this day and age. The specs I posted are actually quite modest by today's standards.

Besides, they're recommendations and not absolute requirements. I mention directly below the list that you can probably get away with lower specs, and it will run okay. But not great. The mod adds a lot of new models, textures, and effects that will all need more memory and a decent video card to run smoothly.

great im glad people play. i definatly look forward to doing some derezzing. if the maps are anything like the ones on the xbox version then this will be pretty fun. i hope to play u soon.

I think your questions have already been attended to, and the KILLER APP Mod is ready for download and enjoyment!

I think you'll find the PC version of the game a better overall experience than the XBox version, or so that's the general consensus from what I hear. I don't have an XBox, personally. And the new mod allows you to play a whole bunch of new options that were not available before.

I hope you're able to find the game somewhere. I'm sure you can get it from Amazon.com or something if no stores have it locally. I bet you can find it for $10 or less these days - less than the cost of a cup of coffee at the local Starbucks. Well, less than two coffees, anyway.
