Greetings From the Bit Bucket

on Friday, February, 22, 2008 4:47 PM
Long time, programs.

My program has suffered from gross inactivity since the other forum went down, but I thought I'd stop by to send my regards.

Well, regards.

Hope you're all doing well.

Excellent! What a blast from the past. I wondered how the hold guard was holding up. Hope everyone's still defending their corner of the digital landscape in some way or another.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Hello everyone....Sans Jin Ya here......

Yeah, Inode, Falty, and I were all teehee-ing like schoolgirls on 3-way MSN moments ago........come join the party some time.

Getting some 2.0 games together would also be a very welcome idea.

P.S. Good to hear from you, Jad.......I was gonna join the LDSO site and post an "I'm back" type of thread.......but I'm an introverted turd......and I'm not sure I could've handled the deflated pinata effect it would've had........oh well......

What the hell? Is this some kind of reunion for old-school Tron 2.0 players?

Nice to see some of the old guard are still out there.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Welcome back, Inode! Been quite some time! Some people weren't sure if you'd ever stop in to say hi again, but Inode you would be back all along. Sorry for the pun - can't help myself.

Wow - I think you stopped posting before I even started! Maybe my memory is Falty, but I don't think I remember seeing any active posts from you in the time I've been here. Welcome back, and nice to meet you, Falty!

I'm glad to see you've finally decided to make your first post. And it only took you FOUR years! Guess you were just waiting for the right micro-cycle to make an entrance, huh?

A couple of threads you may want to hit are:

What's with your name?

And...

Don't forget to PING in every time you have yourself Another dose of TRON

I think you'll enjoy your time here at The Sector

Glad you guys are on Tron-Sector! Cool!

For readers who don't know these guys, these folks played Tron since the demo days, and are too good at Disk Arena. I got my arse handed to me for years in the arena from these 3. I learned the hard way how to play with a 240 ping, but it didn't stop me.
I would say, there's probalby atleast 10,000 hours of multiplayer Disk Arena, from 2003 to current, between them.

Damn, my apologies. When I left my greeting message, I forgot I even did so. One month later, here I am again and only because I stumbled back to this thread on a Google search.

To the previous poster -- no, I can't say that I play anymore. My biggest inspiration was what was left of the Boxhat forums, but that too went down in a flame of bits. Posts are archived here and there on Google, but that's about it. That isn't to say I wouldn't like a reunion though -- if I'm lucky, I'll probably be able to convince Disc Bot to join. Heard rumblings of him lately too.

I have checked into the servers a couple brief times over the last couple weeks. Saw not a soul, save for one person sitting in a lightcycle server I didn't have the map for.
