DDR and TRON

Has anyone noticed how much the graphics of Dance Dance Revolution compare to TRON? In the two games I've played, that seems to be the case. In DDR Extreme 2, on the "Advanced" menu, two of the pictures there look like things from TRON -- one of the MCP exploding and one of some bits saying No. In DDR Supernova, almost everything looks somewhat similar to TRON 2.0.
Or maybe I'm just too obsessed with TRON that I'm seeing it everywhere? What do you people think?
