Have you read the rumors about the Tron sequel yet? That's probably the biggest news lately that you may have missed out on.
It's not for certain yet, but I think this is the farthest any attempt at a sequel has gone. A director and writers are attached, Steven Lisberger is named as a producer, and Jeff Bridges hints that they are going to approach him soon to come back.
I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but all the previous efforts at getting another Tron film going died very quickly. This rumor seems to have some legs, this time.
Hope your studies go well at University.
