Yes, it's my birthday, whoo! Or rather, yesterday was. I realise I don't post here much but I thought I'd go ahead and let you guys know anyway. Heh.
It took me a while to get back onto the 'net after my party _because_ of one of my presents, indirectly. Basically my brother got me a 320 gig hard drive
which I realise is no big to many of you here but was a HUGE upgrade, for me. I was storing my games scattered around the place on extra hard drives 'cos I didn't have space on C, and having to delete some things when I was done with 'em, and...man.
Anyway, the process to get it installed involved lots of swapping things in and out and transferring of large clots of files, so that's what took the time.
Appropriate that one of my presents was something _computer_ related, huh?
Actually two--I also got Sonic Riders for the PC, which I didn't even know _existed_ for PC until just recently. It works fine on my machine--yay! I am a major Sonic fan so the chance to actually play one of these new titles I've been hearing about was quite welcome. (I sort of gave up on buying new consoles...there's just too many to keep up with.)
I also got a Discworld novel, two manga books, some cool art supplies, and an action figure from my 'net friend in Maryland. And my usual "Halloween cake"--chocolate with orange icing. I discovered years ago that they start making those by October 15th and I don't mind _at all_ if Halloween mixes into my birthday. Heh.
Anyway, so that was my day! I'm'a sign off and try my new game a little more now. Seeya!
