I have added a gallery of images of the Mercury statue made to promote TRON 2.0 to my TRON site.

You can view them here: Mercury Pics

I've never had such a good look at the statue before. Wow, that's one hell of a Mercury statue. Very nicely done. Thanks for the detailed photos.

Yeah, she's pretty cool. One of my prized posessions.

Yes, I agree. The artist who made her really put a lot of pride into their work. Very very impressive.

Mmmmmmm-Mercury!

I've never seen circuits look so damn sweet!

How I would LOVE to have that work of beauty watching over my house in the back yard - always on guard, always ready for action. Ahhh, geek fantasies - she's one of the great ones! I don't think you need to be a TRON fan to appreciate those curvy circuits.

Thanks for sharing the photos, DaveTRON!

I knew you'd offer, as you and I went down this discussion path before (though not about anything specific), but I could never borrow something I couldn't replace. The anxiety alone would destroy me!

I'd love to find the lightcycle prop they had on display at a show once. Any idea what happened to that?

Sadly, yes. All three were destroyed by the company who built them for Disney on orders from Buena Vista Games. Idiots!

I'll tell you this about Mercury. If you are ever doing an event in LA where I can be there to monitor and alleviate the pressure for you, ANY part of my collection is available to you. Arcade Machines, Mercury, standees, all of it. Just say the word.

Thank you. Nice to be appreciated.

Well, I am not rich, and nobody died in the making of me from anything other than natural causes, so I am going with luck.

Short version is this. TRON defined my late teenage years. It gave me a point to focus on in life, even when I didn't know it. It lead me to a series of opportunities that I built on that made me who I am. Those opportunities led me to my wonderful wife Jan who is affectionately known as 'The Search Engine', and she helped me build an even better base to work from. I met and befriended these people who made this film, and they are truly my friends. They in turn have supported me in building this strange little corner of the TRON Universe I call the TRON Archives. I make sure it is always accesible to them and anyone they designate. I love being a part of the team in a small way.

As for some of the things I have, I really didn't need to be rich, just smart. I got Mercury for free in exchange for loaning some of my items to a game convention in Germany. She came back along with my stuff.

I got the big movie posters from the El Capitan screenings because my collection and some of Harrison Ellenshaw's were displayed at the theatre with my assistance.

Opportunities my friends. They place themselves in my path, and I make the best of them without being too greedy.

The archives is my way of sharing it all with you. So I hope in addition to TS, you will spend time over there too.

Thanks again for the kudos, and I will try to keep it up.

Quoted for emphasis. Why didn't they try to sell them? Such a waste!

Speaking of which, I distinctly remember seeing a life-size shiny res cycle with a cloth trail. I moved forward on a track trailing the trail. Is that it? And if so can I see the pic because I know I've seen it somewhere before.

That's the cycle Tommy Tallarico built for Video Games Live. It's part of the show and destined for Tommy's house when they are done with it. He's a huge TRON fan.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online
