I've been waiting for this to come out for some time. It isn't quite the same as world of warcraft/everquest type games, in that it has a neat system of battling & resource management. And you dont have to sit there and smelt metals by hand for days on end, you let your workers do that for you even when your not playing. You can be a part of a nation, including pirate. The sea battles are fun, the crew are animated on your boat while your blasting away the enemy, and you can board & fight other ships. You can work with groups in your nation to attempt to take over sea ports, its even possible to take all of them.

I may end up buying it, but play only a couple months, since the swordfighting really doesnt require any manevering like an arcade game, but there is a bit of it in the sea battles since your trying to get your cannons pointed, ship sides from getting beaten down, and work with the wind to get a speed/turning advantage.

The graphics are very well done, except there isnt much detail on the land except at the relatively small ports.
