Yeah, I'm getting alot of "Why is there a rabbit in Tron?" from people. Which of course, is exactly what we want. Both from a storytelling perspective and a marketing perspective, we want people to be curious about the why's and where's of the story... What's the point of a story without anything to wonder about?
I'm glad you're powering through. This really isn't a story that can be fairly judged in pieces and you're keeping an open mind. Appreciated.

You bet! I'm anxiously awaiting to see what all this is about... I know it'll all come around in the end. And then this will cause us to re-read the entire series again to see what we missed, I'm sure!

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^ |

I've looked at the cover of Issue #4 on the website and the copy I have has a different looking cover. The MCP is still on it and everything, but it has a lighter color tone and it doesn't say 'WAR' at the bottom. The cover of the issue is also a thinner paper material than my other issues.

There's only one edition. The one on the website is a temporary image, cobbled together months ago for promotion, before the final cover was completed. As to the cover stock, sales are low enough (not really that bad, but when you consider the high costs of the license) that one of three things had to happen. Either the book would switch to black and white, be canceled, or switch to a lower paperstock.

Alright, cool, that makes perfect sense. But, man, I hope you guys get more money to continue the series!
*SPOILERS*
As for Issue #4 itself, it was pretty strange. Jet's two memories have gotten me kind of confused so far, and I was also to confused as to why everyone was in the older Tron costumes when he awoke from being passed out. Were they just messing with his memory even more when he was unconscious? I mean, he was basically reliving the last scenes of the Tron film. And I also don't know why it's questionable as to whether or not Alan was killed. I mean, the surveillance footage Jet saw clearly shows Alan being shot, right?
*END SPOILERS*
Besides my minor confusion I really like this different, darker direction that the Tron story seems to be heading. I enjoy the fact that it's exploring new territory instead of rehashing old stuff (not that that's a bad thing at all).

There should be some confusion at this point... So that's okay. Admittedly, I think that the book would be bit clearer if we had one constant artist for the series. When you're doing a story that includes visual shifts and you change artists, it can confuse things. We've had to work around the loss of many visual cues. No fault of Michael Shoykhet. I think he's done an amazing job. I'm hoping to work with him again after this series.

This storyline goes for 6. There may or may not be more Tron comics after. In case we move ahead, I've written a first draft for two issue arc. The story is completely new. No familiar characters. No Users in fact. It's more over the top action oriented, moving away from the psychological aspect. I'd been playing alot of Gears of War around the time of working on that, so a bit of that style of gameplay works it's way into the concept, where the current series shows echos of war strategy RTS gaming.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Ack. Print it on toilet paper if you have to. Just don't cancel it and don't go B&W. Heck, don't even print it. I'd pay for a hi-res PDF I could print on glossy photo paper. It's not the same, but it's better than nothing.
Bummer about the license fees. It'd be nice if they put that license to use instead of cranking out Lion King 2.71828.

That sounds pretty awesome. I would totally be in for another arc.
I feel this first arc got off to a rough start. As much as some complain about confusion in these past few issues, #3 and #4 are a heads-above the first two issues. There are just a million more little details and touches to the artwork. Plus I feel like the story is actually coming together.
I had the pleasure of meeting you at NYCC and SDCC and I just wanted to tell you again how much I'm enjoying the series and hope it stays alive. I got my local shop to start carrying it. Hopefully, everyone else can make sure their shops are picking up back issues as well to bring in more readers.

I tend to agree. I think Louie is a very talented artist that was a rough fit with my and Eric's writing techniques. Subsequently, many subtle details that would help lead the reader were lost from script to art translation. Michael is very much on the same wavelength, and the contributions he makes to the storytelling reflect this.
Glad you're enjoying it so far. I think next year at the New York show, I may manage to get Eric and Mike to join me. So if you're in that area, come see all three of us.

I finally got my special ordered copies, and read them.
I like the artwork... it's amazing. The storyline is a bit frustrating because it's like "Lost" in that it seems to be progressing slowly with *just* enough information at the end to keep you hanging. That's good though, I suppose, in that it keeps me on the edge of my seat.
I have to say I like Mercury's "Warrior" outfit a lot better than her "Data Entry" outfit
Awesome work, can't wait for the next one!!!
