Blue's Tron Costume

on Wednesday, July, 18, 2007 12:08 AM
I finally finished my Tron costume. Here's the run down on what I used:
Helmet- hockey helmet
Chest Armor- Motocross/bike armor
Suit- Dive skin suit
Leg Armor- Youth sized Baseball catcher guards
Shoes- Black boots
Blue Circuits- Light Blue Vinyl sticker. This was the hardest part, I actually hand cut all the blue you see on the costume. It looks really good in person, and it looks like it's glowing.

Sorry for the pics being small, my wife took them in a rush. I will be at San Diego Comic Con and will wear the costume on Friday most likey (I'll be dressed as a Biker Scout the other days with the 501st). If you see me come say hi. Thanks!

Mike

Very very very nice... When I get a chance I'm going to have to make my own costume...

Could you imagine using those leg guards that they have in hockey for the goalie. And make a guard suit with that and similar idea for the rest.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

That's great, BlueTronWarrior!

Nice job on that.

Man - I really want my own circuitry costume. Been wanting one for years now, but I'm no good with that kind of thing.

Yeah I remember the dicussion when you had brought it up that one time when you were thinking of making one. I think I may have added in using fiber optics and a 9 volt battery or something to that effect.
