Hey Tron fans, I am a new member and this is my first post. I recently watched Tron in the theaters a few weeks ago and loved it. I can't stop thinking about a certain scene in the movie. When Flynn, Lora, and Alan break into ENCOM, Alan goes to his cubical and begins to hack into the system. There are four words on the wall behind his head. Does anyone know what that means? Sorry, for being such a noob, but this has been somewhat bothering me for the past few weeks. Thanks again

The message was "Klaatu Barada Nikto."
It's the phrase that stops Gort, Klaatu's robot enforcer, from destroying all of planet Earth.
It's from "The Day the Earth Stood Still," a classic scifi film from 1951 It's a movie with a good warning to the human race.

The answer to your question has been posted. You should really check out the film The Day the Earth Stood Still some time. It's classic sci-fi and a great film. They addressed some pretty interesting things in that film - very nicely done too.

And yes my name is from Big Trouble, I love that movie almost as much as I love The Last Dragon. No, not with Bruce Lee, but with Bruce Leroy. Thats another classic 80's movie. "Last Dragon"... and the diva in that movie was hot. It's posts like this that makes me want to go shopping and pick these movies up this instant. Man... they sure don't make movies like they use to (I feel old)..

It also pops up in the Army of Darkness series... (Can't remember which one though, off the top of my head.. lol)
And I'm sure it's probably been re-used a couple other times as well..
