Has/does anyone played/play Ultima Online? I played this for quite a long time but then I realized it was THE geekiest game ever. Well, about a week or two ago a realized again, it is THE geekiest game ever, so i took it up again. It is such a great game. However, I'm forbidding myself to pay monthly for games so I play on free shards for Ultima Online. Like UO Hybrid, it's pre-Trammel UO, so it rocks with open PvP and all that jazz. Me like UO! you like too!

I'm playing LOTRO right now... I guess I prefer the perspective on it better than the screen shots I have seen for UO. LOTRO is not free, but it looks like it's a more immersive game than UO.

I'm still waiting for a good (non-diablo style) single player RPG to be made for the PC... but I'm currently playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Albatross18 (which has nothing to do with RPGs but decided to mention them for no apparent reason).

Boingo Buzzard, really, a more immersive game than UO? UO is one of the most in depth games I've ever played, There are no specific classes, over 200 skills, and more spells, quests a plenty and isometric view is awesome! But, i respect your opinion and i played beta for LOTRO and it was pretty cool. But, if you're looking for a p2p MMO, play city of heroes, great game. Or if you're evil: city of villains.

I should clarify... I just meant the 3rd person view as opposed to the top down view. As we all know how "immersive" a game is story-wise is all up to the design of the game, and of course I can't comment about UO's story and gameplay.
LOTRO is my first, and probably last MMORPG. I really shouldn't be putting as many hours into it as I am, but I'm addicted for now. Once I'm not, I'm dropping it and never going back to something like this again order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill |

Wow... the developers of LOTRO online just released a "patch" that makes my tank character useless. If this is the way that MMORPG's are updated over time, I may be leaving their world sooner than I realized.
