You wont have to for any of these other than the golf game... It's really fun...  and rather easy.. I hope you enjoy it..

THese ones are avaiulable I believe for both windows and linux machines and I think as well OSX. You might have to double check on OSX I am not 100% sure though.

Aaa! I didn't know there _was_ a 3D version of Scorched Earth! My brother and I used to play the CRAP out of the original game. Hacked into it once and made up our own "kill" and "die" files (I forget what all they were, but I remember one of my contributions to the "die" was "Hey! I just waxed this thing!"), even. I have DEFINITELY gotta check out the new one. Oh yeah.

It is fun. I still like the original and for a 3D version, it is very close. I love all the super weapons.... funny stuff..

For the PC version in both (I think) North and South America, it's Albatross 18: Season 2, but everywhere else it's called Pangya.

Does it simulate inebriation or is that just the reaction sequence every time a player wins.

Best retro single player RPG freeware game on the net.
DIVER DOWN
This game is about a plane diver (one who dives into another plane of reality) and ends up in a world like AD&D. He is being chased by a sort of police from his reality because his dive was illegal and to add to it, he has lost his memory. The game play was inspired by Phantasy Star (mainly the fight seans) and is a very long game. The story is compelling and original. I give this game 5 stars *****.
