the subject say it all, i'm trying to hide the HUD and the crosshair, because i'm trying to record some static (yet animated) scenes with Fraps and convert them into video wallpapers for Windows Vista Ultimate.
Is there anyway to do that ?
i tried to edit autoexec.cfg to see if some obvious lines would do the desired changes, but to no available.

Good luck with your animated wallpaper. If you're able to get it working, post an animation of it here if you can. I'd love to check it out.
