Whenever I try to host a game, I get a message saying it was unable to list the game on GameSpy. Any ideas?

Hey, I'm having the same problem too. You have to make sure your firewall and router except port 27888. However, I can't tell you how since I don't know how (and it's top secret). Are eiother one of you behind a physical firewall that are on a router at your homes. If you are try putting your machine in the outside of your small network at home. link in the dlink DL604 there is a section in the router where you can let the router know to put a machine outside of the router protection to host with your computer. It would already help if you open the right port used by the game-spy-code in our router/firewall (wether it is physical or pure software). These are the ports used by game spy

Visit http://www.ldso.net/tronfaq/, click on Troubleshooting, click on "9.3 Crashes, Slowdowns" etc. and scroll down until you see that part that says "I can't connect to a server in Multiplayer".
Either your software firewall or router is blocking ports 27888 and/or 27889, which signals to Gamespy that you're hosting a server.

Y'know, I was also having trouble accessing secure sites. I found the problem. The Norton software became corrupt. All I did was derez it and both problems are now solved!!!
