The Pediodore 64??

on Friday, February, 16, 2007 9:46 PM
Okay This is kind of cool. I was searching the web this evening and nothing better to do. When I went over to old computers on google. And had found someone had done a pda version of the commodore 64 that is like a frm o a pda with a small keyboard and a one of those memory card for a diskette. I think some of the commodore fans here will like it. it looks kind of cool to me over here. Here is the link it was posted on another message board. I coud assume that it was a modder who had nothing better to do and wanted to design something like this. http://jledger.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=dtvhacking&action=display&thread=1167546608

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

I thought it was a nifty way of putting a commodore 64 something to that size. Would it not be as good if we could put an actual computer to that size with what we have of today's PC. Would be great to see.Bring your computer where ever you need it. And wih any flavor of OS you want on it. or hook an external monitor to ir for viewing along with network in the gigabit range.

Oh... and BTW, it's called a "Picodore"... not "Pediodore". The latter gives somewhat nasty connotations.

That looks so cool!

Man - I really wish they'd release a classic C64 again. I'd just LOVE to boot up my old discs and see all the doodles I made with my favorite C64 program -
"Doodle"... assuming the discs still work. My disc drive and C64 itself no longer work. Only through some movie magic can I make it appear to be functional.

They really could clean up on making new C64 units, I'm sure. All us old folks will no doubt get one, and the production costs should be very low. I'm sure many younger folks in to retro technology would enjoy them as well. I miss those days!abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion
