Wow. How could someone think of drilling the bottom of a lake, when it was close to a mine shaft? That was really stupid.
Watching what happened was pretty incredible. Sure wouldn't have wanted to be nearby when it happened, though!

Don't you know that was a serious "Oh Sh*t!" moment for everyone as the lake starting draging the very surroundings into it. I'm sure there was probally alot more than just that said, and then some. The loss of an entire salt mine had to of had a huge economic effect on that area.
