Hey, since you guys are crazy about the early 80's like I am, I was wondering if anyone here has recordings of early Nickelodeon.
I would love to see "You Can't Do That On Television" (where Alana Moriset got her start), "The Tomorrow People", "What Will They Think of Next", and MOST importantly, "Video Comics".
"Video Comics" was my first real introduction to comic books. They would show Green Lantern, The Flash, and Adam Strange along with other Mystery In Space titles. They would show a frame, and read it with SOME sound effects.
Great stuff. Anyone possibly tape this?
I'm trying to get a beta machine working to look through some beta tapes we have (that was the first format I bought TRON in BTW!!) and will be looking soon, but I would love it if someone already has this.

I don't have any cassettes or any video from Nickelodeon any more, but like you I also was a fan.
About the best I could do today is search for it on YouTube. You might not find complete shows but you will get a lot of clips that brings back memories.
I'm heading there now... |

So far no video comics on YouTube, but I plan on looking through some beta tapes once I get a beta machine working. Should be fun. (The beta machine is like a time machine for me.)
