Recently, the Tron-Sector home page (news section) has been extra wide. This forces me to scroll over to the right in order to view the 'last 10' forum posts column on the far right-hand side.

If I was on a 17" monitor with an archaic 800 x 600 resolution, then I'd be okay with the mild inconvenience. However, I'm on a 19" monitor at 1280 x 1024, which is a fairly large viewing size, so I don't think it's an unreasonable request?

Sorry about that, Traahn. I use 1280x1024 resolution all the time, so I didn't think about the widening of the front page. I should take these things into account, yep.

It's funny that using pixels instead of a percentage fixed the issue. Since the browser is supposed to take your screen width into account, and calculate the percentage based on that. Sounds like a nice little browser bug . . . which browser are you using, Traahn?

I recently switched to Opera 9, myself. I've tried all the big ones, and I like Opera the best now. It didn't exhibit the problem you're talking about, which is also probably part of the reason why I didn't think of it.
