Well in all actuality scrpits, the Matrix more than likely derived it's influence from Tron... So in a way it all comes back to us.

That's too bad they put the wrong panels in a few places. Lookingforward to seeing the correct versions...

The script was done almost a year ago. Then there were unfortunate delays in the approval process. Bear in mind that Disney has been dealt a bit of a shake up in the last year. Many, many good people were let go. So we were already late due to this, then the art was late, not finished until sometime in August. The book was pushed back further by the distributor choosing to resolicit.
Believe me, it's been an ordeal. I'll say right now that Dan Vado at SLG deserves an insane amount of thanks for sticking to this and making it happen. He does not have a strong opinion about the the film one way or another. But he has had the faith in us and our creative vision to invest his limited money in this project and make it happen (through sheer force of will, if nothing else). If anyone wants to support Tron, and the very small company putting it's future at risk to further the stories of Tron, purchase ANY SLG books. These are hard times in the comic industry and any and all support makes a difference.
The third issue is 99% complete right now. A few bits in the inside back cover and final approval from Disney.

I got it at Krypon Comics along with Venom: Twist parts 1,2,3,4, and 5. Pretty good, but why do all of the soildier programs look the same? But Tron had a reference, which is cool. And the memory patch. That thing looked painfull.

Well, I was a bit slow to find these . . . but I finally found a real review of Tron #2 (other than my own), and some more discussion.
Positive:
Comixtreme
Surprisingly, the author of the review says he liked the artwork in #2 better. I tend not to agree. Where we both agree, is about the story.
Here's some discussion about issue #2.
Newsarama
BTW, I found it curious that the SLG blog commented on the lateness of Gargoyles but not Tron. Since I think we had to wait even longer than fans of Gargoyles did, for their copy of issue #2.

Probably because the demand for Gargoyles is about a 100-fold what it is for Tron. More people writing and demanding answers.

The panels, that is.
I'd really need to see both versions to compare. x_X
The lateness, I didn't really mind, just makes getting the comic that much more sweeter. Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

Only in initial sales. And that's because retailers (by and large) do not understand the demand for Gargoyles. The numbers you have access to do not reflect the final sales figures. Trust me, the demand is MUCH higher. I wish that were not the case, but it is. I mean, look how little attention the comic even gets HERE. How many forum users show an interest in a Tron comic? How many still have not ordered a copy? I don't mean this in the bitter kind of way, but more in the being realistic way. The demand just isn't comparable.

Well, I've dashed out of work to go buy the issues the day they've hit the stands. I don't know what it is, but I can't get enough. Maybe it's because I'm a far more visual learner than verbal, and the original presentation had just enough detail that made it seem like someone could do this in VR. The ultimate gui.
