Reading reading reading...

Thanks for posting! Will report back later, after I've read it

EDIT: Okay, that's cool, lurkinghorror. Great interview! Some interesting tidbits of info in there. Who is this "Michael Shoykhet" character? Did Louie (that's his name, right?) have enough with drawing Tron stuff? Do you think Michael will mimic the style established in the first two, or do you think he will change things... will he bring more to the table... or? Just wondering what your take is on that, if you have an opinion.

It sounds like you've never seen The Matrix? True? Despite your dissatisfaction for the main actor, I would really recommend seeing Part 1 some time. I feel Parts 2 and 3 were like cheap sequels made to ride the Matrix wave, but that's just me. They could very well have just not had much left for story or something. So, yeah, Part 1 I thought was pretty interesting and would recommend it. Don't bother with 2 and 3 so much, imo. Maybe wait to see it until after your much further along with the Ghost In the Machine comics so you don't get tainted by he Matrix's story/ideas though.

Hope you get your Nintendo DS

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^

True. I have never seen the Matrix. In fact, you hit on one of the more realistic reasons. I find I am an easily influenced writer. So I decided to avoid the film altogether, at least until I am done with Tron.

Though my dislike for Keaunu is quite real as well.

I think Mike will bring his own style to the book, as evidenced by the pencil samples in the interview (that's all Mike). He's incredibly talented and I'm shocked he hasn't worked professionally before. I'm sure that won't last long though. Hopefully he will be kind enough to remember me when he is rich an famous. As for Louie, he opted out of participating on issue 3. We originally wrote the issue to split between two different visual styles to be presented by two different artists.

I got my DS Lite back already. All I had to do was buy my girlfriend one of the new pink ones.

Wow, can't believe I hadn't found that interview before you announced it.

Thanks for keeping us up to date. And my trepidation about the new artist is gone, after seeing those preview pages!

I'll send you a response to your e-mail shortly.

For what it's worth, I'd suggest checking out the following two Keanu Reeves movies:
The Devil's Advocate
Constantine
Both are really big departures from what he normally does, and he actually handles them both very well. I was very surprised (and impressed; I generally think he can't act, either. At least, I thought that until I watched the aforementioned movies).where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Nice interview.

Mike's stuff looks great, it's done the way I'd like to see artwork being done, very realistic looking. Where did you find him?

How many issues is Mike on board for?

I did see and enjoy Devil's Advocate, actually. With Constantine, I admit another bias. The character Constantine is a creation of Alan Moore, and originally appeared in the comic "Swamp Thing". I don't think I can get past the expectation in my mind. In fact, I generally avoid film adaptations of Moore's creations.

Keaunu was also good in River's Edge. He play's a type well, at least.

Dan Vado at SLG found Michael, same as he found Louie. Where I could not say. Probably some kind of dark alley or run down Tiki bar.
