Tron 2.0 Killer App for GBA

three words: B-A-D jk.

BUt the game isn't really that good in my opinion. IF you have played this, tell me what you think, and how long it took you to beat the game. Remember, this is for the Game Boy Advance, not the XBOX.

I borrowed it from a friend Sunday and have since beaten the Tron part and am almost done with the mercury part. I found about half of the in-game cheat chips (I don't use them) and have found 57 subroutine chips.

will probably beat it today during school

I thought it was pretty good actually. GBA is a little limited in what it can do, so I think what they attempted was pretty ambitious. I liked the mini-games. (security, firewall, etc..). The Lightcycles game is also great to play when waiting or stranded somewhere.

The only problems I had were with the weird camera angles and how that related to the controls. Sometimes I found myself going one way when I meant to go another. It's not just Tron though. Other games like Spyro I had the same problem with.

As I have said many times, the emulated arcade games were a bit hard to play with the GBA controls. Awesome emulation, but impossible to control.

I didn't like it at first, but the more I played the more I liked it. So I changed my mind later, and I think it's a good game that's worth picking up.

Boingo's right about the emulation, though. Impossible to control. The emulation also isn't 100% perfect. Close, but not perfect.

Thos are the unchaged ROMs from Midway, so it's got to be something about the emaulator itself that's wrong. The games are EXACTLY what you'd get in an arcade machine. We weren't allowed to modify them at all.

I'm going off of memory, because I never got to keep the GBA I played it on. But I remember that the sounds didn't always seem to play in Discs of Tron under GBA Killer App. So really, it was pretty minor. I guess I'm being a bit picky . . . sorry.

Discs of Tron actually runs worse in MAME on my GP2X right now. The emulation for it is glitchy. And the controls are also impossible. There's no substitute for that spinner.

the game is much easier if you press at the title screen (Press start screen): Right, Right, left, left, left, right, right, up, select

Its a great game!

Playing as a gridbug is great!

I enjoyed the game overall. Played through as Tron first then Mercury and all in all took just a few days (Given how much I HAD to play the game

It's been a long time since I've played I haven't touched it since I beat it the 2nd go around. Always thought it was kinda weird have original Tron and Mercury in the same game but it's cool.

My only complaint would be...I think it was the security mini-game (with the locks?) I remember that being frustratingly annoying. Firewall was cool I remember enjoying that.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I thought it was a flop, compared to ther GBA games/ And, the TRON emulation was WAY off. For starters, it was in widescreen. Most games that are originally square laet you toggle sizes. And, MCP graphics were meesed up. No to mention, everytime (almost) I was in the I/O Tower, the music would cut off as soon as I started firing, and the MCP sound effects never fully played at the end. The contrast was much brighter, and the graphics were off (ESPECIALLY on the MCP).
Still, it's TRON, it's fun, and I challenge anyone who's not a pro to beat my 52,000+ highscore. :P
Mkay. I'm done ranting.

ive got all of the chips and i really like killer app. its easier to control if you play the game on a gamecubes gameboy player because then you can use the analogue controler. My favourite part was the fact that reco and tank sections were involved, and i played them both to death. i cant say much abou the arcade games because i dont know what the originals look like to start with.

My humble little internet slice. Visit, read, comment, and laugh (with, not at I hope...)

Given the GBA's limitations i'd have to say, on the whole, was a rather fun game, fustrating, but fun. now I wish they'd make a DS version.

Yeah, I like it myself. I got stuck badly towards the end of Mercury's side, though...one of those security minigames. No matter _how_ hard I try, I just CANNOT make the pathway thingie quite fast enough. Driving me nuts. Ah well.
