Thought some of the movies from Blender were good here. Take a look when you get a chance too. http://www.blender.org/cms/Movies.160.0.html

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

I downloaded Blender. For a free program it's very powerful and versatile. It's written entirely in Java. It's also VERY complicated. If you don't use it daily, forget about remembering all its intricacies.
Someone on here did some renders from Blender I thought were good. I forget who though.

Im fanatic of BLENDER
And I think that is the most easy 3D program in the internet.
But Boingo_Buzzard has reason, is complicated if that is not practised every day
They exist many tutorials to be able to do animations and models in blender
This is a good tutorial

Probably thinkin of me, but I didn't think my renders were THAT good...
Blender definately has an interface that takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out it comes naturally...
I've gotten pretty good at the modeling aspect, but I'm still learning UV mapping/texturing... I'll get there eventually..
The big thing I've always said about Blender is, you can't beat the price!

When I get home, I'll have to check it out. I'm currently learning 3DsMax so I don't know if I'll have the chance to jump in that prog soon... but would like to check it out.

I have it installed on three of my linux machines over here. (My laptop is one of them too. ) I'll give it a whirl to see what I can do with it over here. I'm not an expert either on animation but with practice like anything else makes perfection. And I know for sure that my drawing skills are nowhere near the graphics artists that we have here in TS.
