Hi, I'm the publisher of other magazine . We're an independent magazine distributed to hundreds of stores in the U.S. and Canada, including Border's, Tower and Chapters.
We're planning a photoshoot for the cover of our 11th issue, and we need to feature someone wearing a Tron costume on it. We thought we had access to a Tron costume here in San Francisco, but it was destroyed in a fire a while back.
If you're in the Bay area or nearby and have a Tron costume, please let me know. Or if you know of anyone who might be able to help us out, that would be great. We'll be sure to credit anyone who helps us in the magazine. Thanks in advance for your help!

There is also Jay Maynard, the TRON Guy whom you can contact.
I did a photoshoot with Cindy Morgan last year where she wore the old TRON Yori costume again after 24 years and looked damn good in it. She knows who has the costume and something might be arranged there.

Tommy Tallarico from G4 TV might be able to help too as they have a costume, courtesy of Zook_One above, that they use in the videogames Live show travelling the US right now.
Also, I will be in SFO the weekend of August 19th if I can be of any assistance to you. Coming up for a TRON screening at The Castro theatre.

You hear so much about me because I and the costume became an Internet phenomenon after it was posted to Slashdot and Fark. That turned into a series of appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I'm not going to speculate on just why it became a phenomenon in the first place, though I do have a couple of ideas.
It's special to me because 1) there's only the one; while I should make another (or two or three!), I haven't yet; 2) I still get requests to do things in it that occasionally turn into money; 3) I'm not ready to give up doing the Tron Guy bit; and 4) it's now associated with a LOT of unique memories and experiences.
