To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

You know... I am surprised that this kind of thing still goes on, with the way everyone's nerves are frazzled these days and enemies are “everywhere”.

I figure that if you whip out any kind of gun... even toy gun that people would freak out and you'd cause a panic.

Not that I’m saying that I necessarily subscribe to that level of paranoia in society, but you have to admit it’s out there.

Assassins is a very popular game in the dorms on campus It gets pretty heated when its down to the last 5-6. Fun stuff. Doing it on a city wide level would be awsome

I had only heard about this last night when I was listening to the radio while trying to go to bd last night. I had quickly bookmarked it on my other computer to take a further look into it later on this afternoon.

We use to play a game when our mall was first built. At about 2:AM we would get into two or three cars/pick-up trucks with super soakers and race around the outter loop around the mall (it was a good 3-5 miles around) and mimic high speed gun fights. It was really fun back then, but not very smart.

Kids couldn't get away with it these days. Cops around here don't show as much mercy as they use to... but then again who can blame them... the crime amoung teens in my town became unbelieveable.

(Ok... I'll rant..) When I was a kid (1 thru 11) and I did somthing wrong, my dad would spank my ass. He never hit me, never slapped me across the face, and rarely yelled.... but I would get my butt slapped and needed it too... Although I did do some pretty wild things when I became a teen, I never really did anything that could get me in jail by county law (may be on or two things but that was about it). Teens had more respect back then in my town, but today I have never seen a group of smart-ass, disrespectful, snot-nosed punks before in my life. I blame lack of discipline from the parents..... and society isn't helping either....

Ok... I'm done... :P

When I was a teenager, I was AWFUL. (1984-1989). My parents were very good parents, but there's something about being a teen that makes you toss your judgment for a loop. I am appalled at some of the things I did as a teenager, and would like to take it back if I could.

Yes, some of it has to do with parenting, but also a lot has to do with hormones and just the feeling of being immortal.

I believe that you are more right than me.

I wasn't no saint as a teen, and I too did things that I'm not proud of... But still, I never ever ever spoke to others with a hateful and filthy mouth in a puplic place at the top of my lungs reguardless how pissed I was... I kept my filthy mouth with my friends when no one else was around...

But you are right. Something about hormones does play a big part in it all.

But things are worse these days somehow... I just can't penpoint what tirggered it...

This is a rather interesting game.

If I were a bit younger, had a LOT more time on my hands, and lived in one of the Street Wars areas, I'd probably join in the game.

Nothing like living a action-movie or FPS for a while, eh?

Safety?

Well, I'm not sure there. I'm kind of on the fence.

I can see this kind of thing getting out of hand, but I can also see it being treated with respect by all participants and working quite well. Let's hope they all remain safe and have fun without incident.

I used to play a lot of Laser Tag back in the late 80's with a few friends of mine. It was just the few of us at someone's house, usually in the dark, but it was a LOT of fun! Had the riffle, helmet and everything! STILL have the riffle and helmet... lost my pistol. The pistol was really cool.

I remember only one thing from that movie, (Other than a very young Anthony Edwards), and that's the woman with the fake Russian accent asking if he was a "Weer-gin".

Funny you mention that - that is all I remember as well.

I think she said it more like wel-gin, but I haven't seen in almost 20 years and memory is faded. Ok, I remember that, and at some point she just started talking with an American accent... and she was kind of hot if memory serves. I remember liking it, but not much else.
