LOL believe me, I think it'd take a lot more then that to get security called on you in that geek fest. Lightsabers, swords, Stormtrooper backpacks that look like bombs, toy machineguns, wizards, warriors you name it everywhere.

You guys are lucky I get around various boards and pages. Check this page out: http://www.starshipmodeler.com/tech/ms_tron.htm
It's a paper model that's available for download.
There are a lot of paper models I've seen based on various vehicles (I even found an impressive paper model of KITT from "Knight Rider"). Download the paper model of the Recognizer, print it out, use glue to attach it to cardpaper and then cut and fold.
In case you're wondering, yes, there is a light cycle papercraft model: http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/Aliens_papirove_modely/papercraft/tron.html
Just a thought, of course.

Traahn- You're welcome. However, the Recognizer you saw at ComicCon may have been one he actually made from scratch (constructing his own template and working from that). The reason why I say that is that you can tell that the ComicCon model is strickly a standalone that has its parts attached only to itself. The Recognizer I provided the link to is attached to a base (you can see in this photo that it is attached to what appears to be a piece of pexiglass, making each part look like they're floating along together like they do in the film).
redrain85- I didn't know they were posted here before. I'm glad to have been of service to all "Tron" fans by reposting their links. I don't know if anyone has posted a Tank model, yet.

Depends on the date. I think I will be there. The other thing I'm doing in August is driving down to Anaheim for the Bats Day in the Park thing near Disneyland. So if you're near there at all maybe you could drop by.

Ahh... I can imagine their confusion. No one there knows my online handle. Did you get your comic signed by Cindy upstairs, or downstairs at the SLG booth next to the cardboard recognizer. If it was downstairs, I was one of the guys with no hair standing next to her.

Understandable. Usually the people who work on a particular comic (or similar project) are not the ones doing promotion, but SLG is a very small company. I'm one of the two writers. Not a big deal. I'm at that show every year. If you can make it next time, drop by and say hi. I want to see how many people from here I can meet in person.

Greetings, Programs!
lurkinghorror,
Do you know if my friend stopped by your booth? She probably did so on Sunday if at all.
Anyhow, congratulations on the Tron 2.0 comic book. I haven't picked up a copy of Issue #1 *YET* but definitely plan to do so. If I can find it locally, I'll have to go through eBay!
Best wishes,
Jayce
