I just saw the movie... I really liked it but it was missing something that I can't put my finger on.
If you are a fan of FFVII, then this movie is a must. However, if you aren't a Final Fantasy fan, then don't waste your time. Even though you might still like it... you wont understand it... and understanding is half the battle....
... oh... uhhh... wait....

I liked it...I think the part that's missing (at least to me) is the other characters should have been involved more. As it was, it was prettymuch the Cloud/Tifa show, which is cool...but, I for one would have loved to see how the other characters progressed as well.
As far as the plot goes, umm....it's Final Fantasy

Same here.... and I was really looking forward to Tifa and Cloud hooking up. I mean... You know it's bound to happen...
I always hated the love concepts of Final Fantasy... Either they never fall in love or they do at the very very very very very end.
