Well, got me a little retro game setup in my apartment. Finally brought my Intv II system and some select games back to my apartment. I could have brought my PS1, but I decided to bring the Intv instead. Also brought the Intv System Changer so I can play Atari 2600 games, a QuickShot joystick, and the Intellivoice hookup, mainly for Tron Solar Sailer.
So in my 18 cartridge fliptop container, which I customized with a spray-on Intellivision runningman, I have the following:
Intv:The Power of Heman (My User I love the sound effects in this one!)
Tower Of Doom (Personal favorite)
Tron Deadly Discs
Maze-A-Tron
Tron Solar Sailer
Astrosmash
Lock'N'Chase
BurgerTime
Dungeons & Dragons, Treasure of Tarmin
26000:Battlezone
Pitfall II
Asteroids
Berzerk
Star Trek Strategic Operations Simulator
Solaris
To top it off I have my Tomy Tron game and Mattel Electronics Dungeons & Dragons Computer Labyrinth Game.
Really wish Solaris worked on my system changer. I want to get an actual 2600 for Solaris.
I'm happy to have my little Intv II hooked up. It still plays great! I'm sure most people on my campus would laugh at me for this system, but I don't give a flying Sark! This was my first console, so it holds a special place to me and I still enjoy it.
I must say, on my black enterainment center, my Intv II looks mighty sharp. where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |

Those were the days of my youth over here playing the intellivision. Does anyone remember the game Pong/Telstar? Where you had too knobs on either side of the screen and played against your friends? Man seeing these screen shots once again brings back memories of the intellivision and of course the other games like the commodore 64 as well as a few others. I remember seeing somewhere here on my linux machine some emulators for genisis or other related games here. I don't know about mame though. Things that make you go hmmm... LOL

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

The cool thing is there's a shop near me, Media Rerun I think is the name, that sells Atari games for two bucks. This is the first store I've actually ran into that sells them. Most stores only sell from NES games and up, so this is amazing. Picked up Asteroids from them. Wouldn't mind picking up a Yars' Revenge they had. The store is awsome.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

I'm pretty lucky since I have two locations close by that sell Atari games. Granted both are dumpy booths at the local flea market, but it's nice to see 2600 games for sale any where.
I never really played Intv so I can't comment on those titles. I'd sure like to play solar sailer on an Intv system sooner or later though .

I love retro-games!
Funny thing is back in the early 80's, I couldn't wait for the graphics to get better and better and now I look back upon those graphically challenged games as beautiful works of video game art!
Earlier today, I played Atari Centipede with the wife again. We're not playing it daily anymore, but we still hit the game and enjoy it together.

Actually, go to This page concerning the history of the Intellivision and you'll find the the folks at Mattel Electronics found some sound problems with Space Spartans and the Inty 2. That they would mention such a relatively minor bug that the Intellivoice must work with the Inty 2.
I'm afraid your Intellivoice may have gone to the Game Grid in the sky. :-( Or, you might have the volume on the Intellivoice turned down too low.

Ah, your right. I thought the volume was turned up, but it wasn't. Real bright Sketch.
Solar Sailer is very difficult, but I think it's cool. This is one game that you MUST read the manual in order to play. I have mine and need to reread it. The game has alot to memorize.
It's amazing how this game really lends it's self to the film. The game actually adds depth to the world of Tron with how a Solar Sailer travels and so forth.

Yeah, same here. I love the artwork on the older games. It's funny, I guess I'm taking a step back compared to average gamers today. It's the abstractness of the older games I find interesting and visually beautiful. I'm sure that sounds cheesy but I don't care. Heman is a great Intv example that performs and sounds beautiful. It's a treat to see. Also, I don't have time to play a real in depth games, so these older games are perfect for me at the moment. Just plug in something like Astrosmash, blast away a few minutes, and then back to your daily routine. https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |

I'm with you and TheReelTodd on this. The old graphics were really amazing in their ability to make you believe that some blocky graphics really looked like what they were supposed to represent.
I remember as a kid desiging blocky video game versions of my favorite comic book characters to see what they might look like if I could make a video game about them. It was tough sometimes trying to decide what to leave out and what to try to portray to make the little block figure recognizable.
The Solar Sailer screen looks cool. I always wanted to play that. I always wanted to play the MOTU Power of He-Man game, also. Thanks for the screens and the MOTU link.
