We might be in luck, Qix77. When you exit the game Prey and it has that screen that talks about the features of the game, it says in the upper-right that "this is just the tip of the iceburg" (or something to that effect!) Yesss!!!
Have you tried the multi-player part of the demo, too (AKA, "Multi-Prey")? I tried it and it actually has good potential. The weird gravity really messes with your mind and opens up a new level of multi-player gameplay.
I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^ |

Multiprey is insane. You never know where the enemy is going to come from. It's kind of like Descent in that way. And the weapons remind me of the Star Trek Voyager Hazzard Team Holomatches because you vaporize the other combatants.

I like it because we don't have to wait 3-6 years to a sequal, and it's only $30 per game. For the price and time spent making it, I like it.

$30.00 per game?! It's $19.99 or less if you get it on sale. I certainly hope you didn't pay $30.00! "We are, after all, not God." - Cmdr. J. J. Adams "C is for cookie. Ooops... I should have put $20.00 (type-os suck).
Hey... Did you see the preview of HL2:E2 at the end of E1?
A game I found in the buget bin the other day was "Call of Duty 2"... I got it for about $14.00 and really like it.

I just hope that "Tip of the iceburg" really means what it is suppose to mean... but it being 3D Realms promoting a new game franchise, I believe they will pack it full of levels.
The death-match portion of the game was also impressive, but I haven't had much time to really kick back and enjoy it.
I'm also impressed that my system is still in good shape. I built it back in 2003 and been meaning to build a new one this year if I save up the money.
Here are my system specks of my current system.
AMD Athlon 2800+
Asus Motherboard (I keep forgetting the modle number)
1 gig of Ram
Asus - 5990 Ultra 512mbs (Nvidia Geforce 5900 chip)
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 (gamer) bought it for $88 at directron.com
2 HDs (both about 80 gig.. and its not enough for what I have stored on it).
2 DVD burners (I use daily)
Cassic Sound Mixer (I have my guitar and keyboad pluged into it). Works well with Cakewalk Sonar 5 and others.
I got tons of other crap pluged into my system. I do a lot of video editing and music for DVDs my brother sells at popbumper.com

Yes, I saw the preview and it looks like there are great things to come from the world of Half-Life!
Call of Duty 2 is a WWII shooter, correct? I think I played the first one at a friend's house on the PS2 a few years back. I thought it was pretty good, as I recall.
