PC Games I bought.

on Saturday, June, 10, 2006 10:49 AM
I haven't bought a PC game in such a long time so I decided to waste my hard earned money on some of the latest and greatest games that I heard about... So here is a list.

Half-Life 2: Episode One - Excellent game.
Tomb Raider Legend - Another great game.
StarWars Republic Commando - I'm so falling in love with this one.
Worms 4: Mayham - A must have. Hurray, I have worms.
Ultimate Spider-Man - Best Spidy game yet.
Far Cry - Found this one in the buget bin. Beautiful game.
Need For Speed Most Wanted - It's not bad, but gets old quick.
Quake 4 - I haven't played this one yet.
F.E.A.R. - Wow. A unique FPS. I'll be playing this one a lot.
Pariah - This was somewhat of a dissapointment.
Milwaukee's Best Ice - Ok.. Not a game, but that is what I'm drinking at the moment...

Ok... Just wanted to share...

I <3 dog.

Thanks for sharing!

I've got HL2:E1, SW:RC, Q4, and F.E.A.R., also. So if you ever wanna go head-to-head in any one of them, I'm game.

One day I have to put up a list of all my PC games. I just haven't done it yet because every time I get the notion to do it, I look at my game wall and shudder at the thought.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

That sounds great. If I ever get the time to do some online gaming, I'll give you a heads up.... but go easy on me because I haven't done any Death Matches since UT2K4 was first released.

Oooo... and if I can find my I-76 game again, then we'll have to do some of that in the future too...

Before I bought all these games, I spent a lot of time on ChessMaster 10th edition. I love chess but for some strange reason I can't stand the GUI of CMX. It just looks aweful.

A dream of mine is to have my own PC Game review web site where I can write my own reviews for a change. I feel that there are so many wonderful aspects in PC games that most reviewers never seem to comment on. Finding the time to do so will prove formable but hey... It's always nice to dream...

I just picked up a like-new copy of System Shock on CD off of eBay. Not only was it cheap but being that it's a first-gen copy and not a "classic series" copy it came with the installation guide, manual, and reference card too.

This is supposed to be one of the all-time great games so I look forward to playing it.

I scavange eBay sometimes for classic games because I didn't have a PC when the classic genre-defining games were out in the early 90's.

System Shock 2 was really a great game in it's day. After a while it did feel too repetive but not enough to really anoy the player.

The System Shock games were cool, but I always liked Looking Glass's Theif games a little more but that's not fair to compare since Theif is sort of a midevil type of game and System Shock is a sci-fi... Both are really cool games.

I ran across a crap load of classic and new PC games at an auction that was held in St. Louis a while back. It was a tech auction from a few local businesses in their area and I found a lot with over 300+ games. Most didn't have manuals or cases but a lot of the PDFs were on the disk anyways. Strange for a business auction.

Anyways, I got it for about $130 and about 60 of the games I already owned. I'm thinking about ebaying the 60 games to see if I can get more money from it then what I paid for. About 90% will run on win 9x machines and above (even got em to run in XP in most cases using compatablity mode)... Pretty cool...

I should make a list of the games I'm selling (as a bundle) here first before I go to ebay incase anyone might be interested on biding.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Just finished Quake 4. It was fun on a bun!

I hope there's an expansion pack in the works.

I already had beat it about a day ago. I was really impressed overall. One thing that really freaked me out was when they tried to turn Cain into a Strog. It was really like being there. I also loved the tank, mech, and convoy levels. I believe that this is the best Quake game yet.

It's funny, but I didn't like Doom 3 (we sort of talked about this before), and even though the engine was impressive I just didn't like it. But, with Quake 4, the engine, story, gameplay, and overall concept was really great.

F.E.A.R. was also a cool game. It shows that you can scare a gamer without having to include zombies. It's a good thing because I'm so sick and tired of zombies being in almost every game.

Four games I saw that was at E3 that I must have for my PC.

Unreal Tournament 2007
Rainbow Six: Vegas
Battlefild 2142 (I think that's the right date)
Gears of War (I thought it was only going to be for the x-box but I was wrong).

I also have to get Half-Life2: E2 when it's released.

Too bad there isn't a Tron 3.0 or somthing. I really want to play more FPS Tron games.

The type of games I really enjoy playing the most is FPS. I also like some 3rd person games and most Space Sims like Freespace and Tie-Fighter. Puzzle games, 2D platformer games, fighting games, etc.. I also enjoy playing (both new and old). But I never liked RTS games. Although I love RPGs, I really don't like and have no time for MMORPG.

A.I. isn't really as good as a person, but I can leave a game without worring that a NPC isn't going to wander off and complete something that I'd miss out on.

I really wish they would've at least done the expansion pack for TRON 2.0 that was planned. That would've been so cool to play through the movie itself.

Next I want to pick up C&C The First Decade so I can catch up on my C&C gaming (which I haven't done since Red Alert.)

Hey guys... If I had any modding talent what I think would be cool is to have a level (kind of like the City Hub) for Tron 2.0 where everyone at the sector can join in and just chat back and forth. It would also be cool to have the news posted from the sector appearing in one of the scrolling banners on a building where anyone can walk up to and read.

It could be a little like a VR chat room. The only problem is that I don't know how to mod, script, or create levels... so I guess that idea is shot down unless someone else can figure out how to do it (ok, just dreaming a little).

Anyways...

This post has put me up to 879... I'm getting there.... This time I'm really keeping count...

Man, I totally missed this before.

What little I've seen of C&C 3's story looks interesting, so I look forward to picking it up.
