yup, i'll bet you didn't even notice i was gone, it was such a short trip.

i've literally just come home from a trip to Bamberg, Germany [look it up on google earth!] for numerous reasons including

sightseeing,

drinking beer [because the legal age is 16 in germany, not 18 as in the UK or 21 in the USA, as far as i know...hah]
and speaking quite good german for the purpose of ordering said beer for me and my family, minus sister.

i might post some photos, if i can be bothered to upload them, then post them.

anyway, i'm back.

hot and tired, and sunburnt, but i'm back.
