Seriously... this sounds like great fun. For those of you that are able to go have a great time and post as many pictures as you can. I sure hope the Q&A session is able to be recorded and/or transcribed. That would be something I'd love to see here at Tron-Sector.

I think that, with the release of HD dvd/ Blue Ray discs that this 70MM version of the film should be the source that is used in making Tron for HD dvd release.
Oh, I'll probably be able to go since I live in Los Angeles.

So 70mm is even higher quality than the 20th anniversary edition?? In other words: whatever they used as the source when transferring the film to the 20th Anniv. It is my understanding that the original 70 MM source was used to create both the 20th Anniversary DVD and the new 70mm print that has been in use since 2002. They are the same. It is also what is on the UMD version too.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

Oh, so its a good bet that when the HD dvd comes out it will be the 70mm transfer.

I would love to make it out there (especailly since I'm too young to remember Tron in theaters) but alas I'm stuck here in Maryland.

Yes its a safe bet that 70MM will be available to the public in a few years.

I wish I could go but I live on the opposite side of the continent near the Atlantic.
Please document the experience with lots of photos and possibly some video.
Have Fun! to all that are going it sounds like a blast.
I just hope that isnt the only 70MM showing in my lifetime

I've been told I cannot photograph or videotape the event.
The Academy does however, and I am getting a contact to talk to, so perhaps you'll all get to see some of it eventually.
