Lightweight? Jet never reassembled a recognizer, revive a program that was dying in his arms, survive a tank blast and a derezz command on a carrier, nor hault a master control program by jumping into it.

Flynn would win easily because if I recall in the game Jet never used any user powers unlike Flynn who couldnt get enough of it :P
And from what Sketch said, a Shot from a Tank killed RAM but not Flynn AND when the carrier Derezzed it didnt even make him flinch so we need to ask "Can Flynn even BE derezzed?"

You really cannot compare Flynn and Jet, because they exist in different mediums. Where in the film, Flynn evidences the power of a god on multiple occasions, the nature of the video game requires Jet to be comparatively powerless. I think I'm contractually obligated to think of these things.
If you separate the actual content from the equation, I would still argue Flynn. I think he's the more creative of the two. And as the digital world is ultimately a world of thought, creativity would give one the upper hand.
