I've been getting a few emails from another individual that has chosen to write his own rendering software to try to reach the exact look of TRON as tools like POV-Ray are missing the outline function, etc. His name is Luc Barthélémy and here are 2 links to his web site.

Hi Carl, It is very kind of you but the site is absolutely not up to date (the download, the pictures, etc). Of course, you can point it out if you really think that someone can be interested. I have obtained good result for the “outline” function as I was expecting it. I keep on working on it. I will tell and show you soon. Luc

Hi Carl, I have check the thread : THANKS YOU, it is very kind of you ! I wish I could give as soon as possible some instructions but it is a very early version currently in development and I did not make a manual yet even if we don’t need one because it is very simple to use. Just in case: 1)       Unzip the zip file anywhere you want, in a directory. 2)       Launch the RT_windows_vc7_r.exe. 3)       Then drag and drop a CSG file in the window of RT_windows_vc7_r.exe. 4)       The picture should appear progressively. The CSG files are like POV files but there are small differences that make them not compatible. I will very soon try to update the download file available on my site. If anybody has questions (which to me sounds like some interest, and it is already a good sign) Do not hesitate to tell me or give them my email. I will answer. Regards Luc
